Communicating commitment and results
Adhering to the EMAS regulation requires companies not only to adopt a rigorous environmental management system, but also to publicize, in a clear, transparent manner, the results of its work and the commitments it has made for the future.
illycaffè drew up its initial declaration in 2004, in accordance with the EMAS 761/2001 regulation, and it publishes the results achieved over time. In this document, illycaffè opens the doors of its plant to collaborators, institutions, suppliers, the press and citizens—backing its environmental commitment with data and facts, taking stock of its progress and announcing its future goals.
